Katherine is a kind person who is observant, pragmatic, and funny. She absolutely loves empowering others! She is especially helpful for people who struggle with anxiety or self-esteem issues. If stress management matters to you, then Katherine is your gal. To her, it is important that therapy is not just about talking: it is also about taking action.
You are dealing with specific problems and therefore need specific approaches to work on them while you learn to practice adaptive strategies that you can utilize for the rest of your life.
She is an expert in executive functioning. Partly because she is diagnosed with inattentive ADHD. Partly because she has spent years training in executive functioning issues and how they relate to therapy. Like so many of her clients, she’s been diagnosed with GAD and a mood disorder, which she successfully manages with an effective combo of therapy, medication, and walking.
Neither life nor therapy are about making things perfect. They are about making things better. That’s what she does. For herself and for her clients. Always learning, always challenging herself and others, always working to make things better.
That’s what therapy is like with Katherine. Celebrating progress, reflecting on setbacks, and then moving on to the next thing.
Always working to make things better.
Outside of therapy, her passion lies within the field of ecology and with anything having to do with animals!
